how usefull is artillery if you have air superiority already?
What if the enemy has air superiority but no artillery?

Also how hard is it to destroy enemy arty/Tanks/INF with airstrikes only using stand off weapons?

Cheaper to lob artillery than fly planes around. If your planes are freely neutralizing anything that could counter battery feom altitude, you can quickly and cheaply arty any damn thing you want while minimizing your planes exposure to some shitter with a manpad.

Very. Artillery is much cheaper and more available so even if you're just a team of nobody grunts you can call artillery on a position that gives you trouble when air support wouldn't bother outside of a real emergency.

Depends on the standoff. With glide bombs you can get some range and still strike them well if your planes can see them from afar or if your ground troops give you timely coordinates. Ditto for air launched missiles like the Brimstone. Otherwise you're not going to be using large and expensive cruise missiles on tanks and probably not artillery either unless it's really important.

By available i mean that it can readily respond to your call while unless there's already a bomber in the air it takes time for it to load up, takeoff and make it to you.

Faster time on target and can stay on station almost indefinitely. Oftentimes much cheaper too.
>What if the enemy has air superiority but no artillery?
If they have enough bombs to drop on your face around the clock you're just fucked. Even if not, they have a notable advantage in that they can hit your artillery but you can't hit them back unless their airstrip is spitting distance away from the frontline.

In general: Pound by pound artillery is much cheaper to buy and use, has a much shorter reaction time, is there for you no matter the time or the weather and if arty doesn't hit (hard enough) the first time you just ask for another set of rounds and get it after seconds. Air support has it's place but arty is any grunt's best friend

main problem of artillery is limited range and poor mobility. pretty much have to sneak within 80 kilometres of the target, and wait for them to make an unforced error.
that said its cheap and can maintain a constant barrage, chance of actually hitting anything is low so it mite be a false economy.
Aircraft are fragile and expensive, better to save them for important targets that other systems cant reach.

You can't have Artillery if they have Air Superiority. This is why North Korea would lose bad after the first 48 hours.
