Yeah. I'm not American, but that's my experience as well, and also lines up with the stats I've looked over. Asians who came to the US during the cold war seemed to heavily lean Republican, because many of them had escaped communist shitholes. However, after the cold war ended, the second gen and newly immigrated chink agents all seem to lean far left.
Aside from the obvious shift in global politics, I think a lot of it also has to do with asians mostly living in major US cities, particularly in liberal, coastal cities. That said, the asian-Americans I've talked to who aren't liberals, tend to be extreme American patriots. It's the same in my country.
Most asians here are left-leaning, but the ones who aren't are fiercely patriotic and complain about how the white natives aren't patriotic enough and are adamant about stopping immigration from third world countries.

For some odd reason, I am the only one among all the korean guys i knew that are really into guns. Koreans generally have an aversion to it because they were raised to be sorta goodie goodie. so more often than not, I get their noses turned up at me when I mention hobbies of this nature.
