I genuinely have no idea what's wrong with the P320s and if you aren't a gunsmith or an engineer you don't either. I can say this, every other serious duty pistol on the market either has an extremely heavy double-action trigger pull, or uses a manual safety that *blocks the sear*

The manual "safety" on the M17/M18 just blocks movement of the trigger, not the sear. Carrying a P320 is like carrying a 1911 condition 0 with the grip safety taped down. Just no thought at all about how firearms are used in the real world.

Because the P365 has nothing to do with the MHS trials or the subsequent contract signed for the M17 and M18 service pistol. When Beretta realized the design of the M9 could be improved by updating the locking block, they tried to get the military to accept the improved design.
