Today I'm making a commitment to bring a more positive and collaborative attitude to my /hg/ posting.
While it's obvious there are a lot of flawed individuals here, I think that many of us bring at least something the others could learn from.
I hope you all have a good weekend and enjoy your pistol.
The P320 is getting banned from places like Gunsite, Patriot Training Center, Washington State Police Academy.
It's over.
>>64031242I donโt trust you to and I donโt think there is anything to learn from you.
Go shoot at 7 yards and put 5 rounds into the same hole, become a better handgun shooter. Do some holster drills, have some knowledge. PP anon could put all 5 rounds into the same hole at 7 yards if he doesnโt have a flier, as annoying as he is, heโs taken criticism and has become a better shooter in the last few years.
>>64031272He is ban evading and revealed that he's been shitting up multiple threads for years. Don't even respond, just report this nigger on sight, forever.
>>64031277I wish the jury/justice system wasnโt so gay, I would have punisher skills, Donald Trumpโs signature, โExecutive Order 666โ on my gun. It would be a total shitpost
Yโall got guns? I miss when people would post pictures of their guns next to their favorite beverage

>>64031369>>64031384>>64031386How is the CC9 actually? All I know about it is that it looks like a Taurus and I wrote it off because I already had a Sig P365. Might be retiring the Sig soon and the CC9 is only slightly larger though, the S&W CSX is also interesting for this reason.

>>64031288This. Everyone should just ignore him.
I use to think handguns were the most boring of firearms, but it turns out it's just the opposite. They are the most interesting of all.
>been wanting to buy a gun for a long time
>finally found one up for auction
>car craps out on me on the drive home from work
>gun money is now car repair money
Shit sucks, bros
Got an advantage arms conversion kit for my Glock, whatโs the best red dot to put n it? Ive seen the Holosun SCS recommended but it only comes in green dot, and all my other pistol optics are red. Big deal or nah? Using it not just for plinking but to train a bit cheaper sometimes.
>>64031563Rough m8. Don't worry, we're all gonna make it. This setback is temporary and provides an opportunity to grow in the face of challenges.
>>64031557Same, it's more personal than some kind of workhorse long gun. I think by the very design of having something worn on the body like a fashion piece while a long gun can be placed down on a table or leaned onto a wall or something sets it aside.
>>64031479>years agoAnon, it hasn't even been two. IIRC, you posted that the spring before last
>>64031557Maybe because pistols have a higher skill floor than carbines or rifles
>>64031557I think itโs because handguns have more niche uses than rifles or shotguns. Thought rifles have more boom and therefore are higher on my list
>>64031557I really like how 5 inch 1911s spin on my finger
>>64031571Yeah my long guns are indisputably the most capable, and that very high capability ceiling lends itself to being optimized, minmaxed, and then left alone. While a handgun is more personal, more subjective, less constrained to the utilitarian by its nature and the form factor brings the smallest qualities into the light while requiring interesting and novel engineering considerations.
>>64031574It's been a long year anon.
And yeah the skill floor/ceiling is pretty dramatic.
>>64031589They really need to be niche because they are so constrained and situational.
>>64031593Based spinner. They're so good for it because the bottom edge of the trigger shoe doesn't catch like on other guns.
Does anyone have any experience with Tanfoglio? They have a .22 plinker for under $500 and I like the look
I like when the rear sight is put in front of a pistol dot. It reminds me of like a modern deltonics system. Is there a specific name for that to help me look up places that can make a cut like that?

There's also lead wipes and some other lead soap brand If you got kids in the house washing shit with lead on it gets it in your washer and then on their shit, unless you run that washer on empty like twice.
>>64031788Mad respect if you do this and look like this.
I'm not an /arg/fag. Redpill me on what this pastebin/glocktroon did there? If we can establish that glocktroon is an already known troll who ban evades, then we can make a case directly to the moderation.
>>64031813How about not and you just shut up about it and post handguns. Moderation can't solve the problem since they cannot solve ban evasion.

RAMI gone, Px4 Subcompact gone... Who still makes a double-stack subcompact (G26 size) DA/SA pistol?
>>64032908>stickersHe clearly has the mentality of a child
>>64033009I really don't understand the appeal of subcompact/micro compacts. PX-4 Compact is probably the smallest I would ever go and even then I'm not thrilled about barrels shorter than 4"
>>64033031It just happens that my friend's Glock 26 with the mag extension (+0 or +2, I don't remember) thingy is so perfectly sized for me. I get all my fingers in, the grip is chonky enough that all my hand surface area is on the gun, and the slide/barrel's length is just short enough that I don't have to adjust my grip to avoid getting my weak hand thumb getting muzzle blasted, with no surplus length at all. Basically, it's the smallest gun that I can shoot with almost zero compromise.
I just want DA/SA for platform consistency (my only pistols are a Shadow and a CZ75B). The P07 and other CZ Compacts trigger my OCD because they're not in that perfect size envelope, they have surplus length on the slide/barrel even if the grip length is just perfect with a flush-fitting mag.
>>64033056Have you considered a revolver
>>64033015Just like your childish come backs. Stickers imao
>>64032400The abomination just blogs for attention. It blogs about its career choices that will never happen, it blogs about how much of an expert it is at shooting, how much it will someday go camping in the woods and how much it enjoys defiling the past nazi owner of the PPK by having vengeance of its past owner engaging in faggotry. And everyone knows this because it blogs about it; been blogging for years about its pathetic life, and apparently has a head tumor, which would somehow explain it's mental illness
>>64033009Idk if the p2000sk is still in production but isn't there the p30sk?
Otherwise just get an old da/sa subcompact and buy spare parts for it when they pop up for cheap
>>64033068Not really, because of the platform consistency thing.
It's really just my autism, just the idea of a firearm that is a pure extension of my hands, no more, no less. The G26 size fits my unmodified shooting grip (as used on my full-sized pistols) EXACTLY, without any surplus or deficit of length or height at all. That just really excites me.
This absolute chad does it again
>>64031233 (OP)Alright /hg/, let's say you have to pick ONLY 1 (english: one, spanish: uno) handgun to buy for the rest of your life with NO EXCHANGING, REFUNDS, OR RETURNS WHATSOEVER... which one would it be?
Caliber choices are 9mm Makarov, 9mm Parabellum, .22 LR, and .38 Special ONLY.
Hard mode: 9mm Parabellum ONLY.
I live in a noguns country. It's possible to buy guns but the rules are very strict and there's no gun culture because nobody cares about guns and we're one of the top 10 safest countries in the world anyway.
I'm thinking of getting a gun for shooting range fun, and "maybe" competitive shooting (hence the hard mode criteria). It is possible to buy more than one gun, but I'm not changing the question. It is also possible to buy other caliber guns, but importing ammo is straight-up not possible at all (or extremely difficult). Only shooting club ammo is provided which are the calibers above.
I liked Beretta 92s, Caracals, Px4s, S&Ws. CZ-75Bs were "okay", but Tanfoglio 1911 felt awful. The answer doesn't have to be any of the aforementioned ones, share what you think fits as a one-and-only type of gun.
Meme answers like "hurr durr I'd move out" is not accepted. Don't be a nigger faggot and waste your time.
>>64033132Nigger faggot

Berettatroรถns crimes against /k/ include
>valuing weapon aesthetics above all
This is wrong on so many levels, but the troon admitted and defended this position.
>being overly familiar with one specific weapon
The autism causes the troon to only have specific weapons. A great warrior once said that this is as much a fault as not knowing the weapon well enough.
>being an incel
A lot of people here are incels, but Berettatroon advertises it by posting those coomrags. Thus he gives his favorite gunmaker a bad name. I'll even go so far as to say this anon would be the least attractive among anons itt except Burt.
>lobbying the jannies
He sits on a discord with one or more jannies, and abuses this on people who disagree with him. He does this rather than getting laid. If you've ever had a good faith post earn you a ban, it's because of this incel.
>he starts the drama
Like a jew, all he does is stir shit up. He doesn't hold himself to his own standards.
>he hates being called by his name

>>64033122>Tanfoglio 1911hey I'm also a noguns and I'm going to shoot one soon, wtf, why are they bad

>>64033122I'd just get a 92, whichever flavor you prefer. Huge aftermarket, massive parts availability, high reliability, etc.
>>64033219We all know what you'd take. Your entire identity revolves around it.
>>64033122I have no clue what aftermarket looks like in your country but if I had to choose one it would be a Beretta 92

iirc during competitions even the 92 is given(?) to those who don't have a gun but want to compete, but according to the RO most competitors already have their own guns.
I am "leaning" towards a 92 but want to see other options.

>>64033353Itโs a piece of art. My only complaint is that I really donโt like carrying such a pretty blued thing. As well as the fact that it has a 750 round recoil spring life or it will batter the frame to the point where itโs very difficult to take the slide off; supposedly it was common practice for that model in Italian service to have the slide โsling shottedโ into a bucket once it got really bad. I keep track of my round count so I can be fully on top of it and avoid that crude practice. Even then, it takes a bit of muscle to disassemble after a shooting session.

>>64033396Thatโs an original beretta 84 from 1979.
That quirk should be specific to the original 84, before they revised it with the later versions.
I bought a holster from vedder because they're literally right down the road from me. Nice holster, but despite what people told me, appendix carrying a 92 fucking sucks. Im carrying it strong side now and its fairly comfortable.
>>64033419Who said it was easy, okay maybe I did, itโs something that gets easier over time depending if your holster is actually in a good comfortable spot. I carry a like a 48 ounce 1911 appendix every day
>>64033429Did Cohen just turn off the QC inspection software at Sig?
>>64033426>who said it was easyA lot of people did. When I went to vedder, they let me try out a full size m&p, which was fairly comfortable, but an unloaded m&p is probably half the weight of my 92. But I'm determined to carry my 92. I do like the holster though, and the guys at vedder were really nice. Holster was pretty cheap too.

>>64033628If that is what you have gleaned from your cursory research, please wear tyvek to shoot your guns, because wearing a sweater or a jacket won't stop it ;)
>>64033304Damage bonus vs jeets? Does it apply to gyppos as well?
>>64033641I'm pretty sure I'd be making the situation worse if I shot a lot and had my skin exposed a lot. Even your doctor would tell you to wear sleeved shirts.
>>64033649The skin absorption is negligible and not clinically significant even if you're a regular shooter, especially if you wash up well with the soap with chelating agents (hygenall leadoff is ideal and very cheap). What you should be more concerned with is inhalation, if you're shooting indoors and your range doesn't have a proper air filtration set up, get gone.
>>64033649If wearing long sleeves makes you feel safer fine but if you wash it in your home washer and there's kids in the house you're going to brick their brains. Also the material on said long sleeves will eventually lead to you ingesting that lead indirectly
>>64033625>I drink them rarely, just stocking upGood, i drank a bit too much over the weeks but i prefere that over second sleep during driving IMAO
>>64033561You need to know if the degradation is fully complete or just search for some pdf to learn about the compounds that form after shooting. At least the lead salts (organic or inorganic) are fine enouth to be a problem
If you coat your arms in ballistol, the lead will be unable to cause you harm.
>>64033686Do you shoot naked? All you're admitting then is that you poison yourself without realizing since you think only sleeves get coated
>>64033679>What about crappy indoor rangesWhat about them?
>>64033706I have a singular outfit for the range I get cleaned elsewhere (Including shoes and jacket for cold outdoor shooting) because I don't want lead in my washer. Theoretically running the washer with a chelating agent, on empty, might do it but I'd rather not brick a young brain
>>64033721So instead of having a long sleeved shooting getup you wash separately, you want to expose yourself to GSR you may not remove all of and spend more money on extra lead wipes?
>>64033721This post reeks of faggotry and troonery
>>64033700Yeah and your bloodline will stop and you get asked out alot by dudes on the street.
>>64033733No, I use the lead soap for a surgical wash on my arms and face, change, wash hands, good to go. No issues with blood lead levels despite a good amount of shooting, unlike the boomers at the range (one of them told me he had unironic lead poisoning)
>>64033748This just sounds like wearing longer sleeves but with extra steps.
>>64033748What a head tumor does to an already mentally ill person. I think the tumor is finally taking over your brain
>>64033754Long sleeves will stop a negligible amount of lead from reaching your skin unless you're wearing tyvek or plastic, you'd still need to wash
>>64033759Yeah, wash less because theres less on you so less that you can miss...
>>64033758You don't have to worry about such things because you shoot a mag a year, for anyone that goes shooting with regularity the elevated lead levels are a real risk
>>64033762There's probably no scientific literature on this and I'm too lazy to look but cloth would stop maybe 10% at best of the lead dust from reaching your skin
>>64033768So we're just making shit up now, got it. Keep doing more work for higher risk.
>>64033771What percentage of lead do you imagine normal woven cloth stops from reaching your skin?
I just wear a ligma mask when I shoot, wipe my face and hands with an anti-lead wipe, then take a shower and change clothes when I get home. I only go shooting once a month.
>>64033776For someone obsessed with safety you certainly stopped caring about mitigation real quick when your quirky routine is objectively suboptimal.
>>64033764I inject myself daily in small doses to make myself immune to lead. I also dose my arms and hands in a mixture of snake venom and lead; during my scientific investigations, I found that lead does not like another poison in the blood stream. Periodically I also put Hodson H380 on my steak to coat my voice against lead when I do my morning prayers. Follow me on my blog to protect yourself against lead
>>64033147You forgot that he spams all the weeb/mobgoloid porn
>>64033778You should sell this fancy mask you refer to, id imagine there is a big untapped market for such items
>>64033783You say suboptimal, I say my blood lead is negligible despite my regular shooting trips, sounds pretty optimized to me
>>64033803Seems like more work to motigate the larger risk just to not have long sleeves on a shirt you wash separately anyways.
>>64033803>Regular shootings
>>64033804That's assuming you're following my routine which most people are not. Boomers with lead brain will shoot then go about their business wearing their leaded long sleeves spreading lead everywhere and ingesting it through the day. I don't wear long sleeves for comfort and because I imagine the woven cloth provides a nonexistent barrier to microscopic lead dust flung everywhere
>>64033817Makes me lose everytime
>>64033822Cross contamination is surface blind, a t shirt still can cross contaminate clean surfaces, missing a part of your arm one day can cross contaminate surfaces. If your only defense is that some people are morons then I think Im not going to waste anymore time with someone who pretended to care about the subject and instead just wants to sound smart or something.

>>64033437>>64033429No, my best guess of the process is that the mandrel broke off in the cold hammer forging process. It's got two sections that are supposed to go inside the barrel blank during the forging process, one being smooth and the other having the ridges to impress the rifling onto the barrel interior. They probably didn't notice until they went to process the next blank and forgot to track down the faulty barrel.

Premature slide stop engagement, I donโt think itโs caused by the rounds in the mag rubbing against the slide stop
>>64034306not to be a dick, but what is even the point of a 1911 anymore? I wanted to get one because they look gorgeous. But every time I read up on them or listen to anons/read on forums it's just everyone talking about issues that they have. If your pistol isn't reliable then what is it good for?
>>64034336guns chambered for .45 just like to jam.
>>64034336I agree. I think some 1911s look cool as hell but I've heard too many bad thimhe including malfunctions. I'm not gonna drop thousands on a Les Baer when a $400 used Gen 3 Glock 19 is a better, more reliable defensive weapon.
>>64034384>>64034392I want a 10mm pistol and the dw always looked great to me, but I have zero confidence in it based on what I see
>>64034336Theyโre an enthusiastโs handgun, there are more reliable, cheaper, higher capacity, guns on the market. You have to be into them to be willing to deal with 1911isms, but particularly 10mm 1911s I have had this slide stop issue. I think itโs the recoil forces involved that wiggle the slide stop like this. This is like the third one with this issue, one of them was caused by the slide stop touching rounds in the mag. If itโs mostly reliable, a government length .45 should be easily, then itโs a range toy and a gun to fuck around on your desk, doesnโt need to be 100% to do that. For a carry gun it needs to be 100% which with some luck and sending back to the manufacturer a few times youโll get.
I really like shooting them, I like how the slide feels racking it, I like the look of them, I like how they balance and spin on my finger - I have a habit of spinning guns and spun a unloaded 1911 at the range by habit.
Bill Wilson has never let me down. The three Wilson Combats Iโve have have never had any issues. I cannot say the same for Dan Wesson, Colt, Nighthawk, or Tisas. Sometimes I wonder what the fuck Iโm doing with these things and that I should get a HK45C or FNX45 or something. Then I shoot them again and not want to shoot anything else.
>>64034336If only reliable pistols were posted here, it'd be nothing but poly strikers.
>>64033429lmao sig is so fucking shit
>>64034336Any expensive 1911 I've had was garbage and picky about ammo, but the turkshit and Phillipines made guns functioned flawlessly. The cheapos had loose fitting slides with a lot of wobble, sort of like a glock, which i guess led to them functioning well, but the ones that had really tight fitting slides, hand fit, with no wobble barely fucking cycled. I suppose that, because 1911 forgings are extremely easy to buy, like ar-15 forgings, that they became an obvious choice for "custom shops" like Ed Brown, etc to manufacture without having the means to make their own forgings. But to justify the retarded prices they wanted to charge, they had to tout that they were "hand fit," which sounded nice to morons that wanted to spend a lot on a gun, but did not lend itself well to reliability and functionality. You see the same thing with 2011s. People claim that they HAVE to be expensive because... they just do, okay? But the turkshit 2011s cost 500 dollars and work really well.

Too bad I don't find Asians attractive.
Hard to watch everyone but me suck. I haven't fucked with my gun at all, followed the break in instructions, and it has run flawlessly for over 1000 rounds now. Imagine.
If you wanted a reason to "not like" or otherwise malign the 1911, you'll find them. The truth is the difference between a good 1911 and a shit 1911 is the owner. If you prefer polyslop it's because you prefer to avoid accountability for your firearm working correctly.

>>64034493I'm
>>64034396. What are you talking about? Are you really certain that people with 1911's that don't function correctly are all just not taking care of their pistols? I like yours btw, just hesitant on getting one.
>>64034493>>64034470I had this issue before I swapped out the trigger. I think the cause might be the full length guide rod I installed, I sent a 1911 back to nighthawk with this issue (alot more rare, 3-4 out of 1000 rounds) and he adjusted
>slide stop obviously>lower barrel lugs>guide rod to fix premature slide stop engagement
I'll put back the stock guide rod, I don't remember having this issue on my break in period day (300 rounds) which I followed the break in procedure quite closely. This is like the 3rd time it happened, I would say I am at 700-800 rounds with this gun. All happening after I swapped out the guide rod.
hmm, I do like the feel of the tungsten guide rod but I guess it has to go
>>64034513Dan Wessons do since they machine for a tight fit and then just send it out.
>>64034522>Dan Wesson ships out guns that don't even workThen what's the point of the TIGHT slide to frame fitment? How much more accuracy do you get out of it? Because you certainly don't get reliability out of it.
>>64034540You do get accuracy out of it. Tight fit is the mark of a higher quality gun, which broken in Dan Wessons, in good working order, out perform price to performance ratio real custom guns
A custom build is like 4-5k, with or without a donor gun (built on a stock Colt for instance). A Dan Wesson is 1.2-2k.
>>64034559As I said. These are enthusiast guns. If you just want to put lead down range you donโt need one, a 300 dollar 1911 will do.
>>64034493>break in instructionsDoes that require live fire? lol
>>64034513>>64034540>Seething glockkiddiesPathetic. You have three basic categories of 1911s. Mass produced guns, semi fit guns, and hard fit guns. Mass produced guns, like all other mass produced firearms, should not require a break in for reliable function. They are radiused and toleranced with extra space between parts, this means that they do not need a break in but will never be as tight as the other categories. This is what you're used to from your typical glockslop and other mass produced designs. Hard fit and semi fit guns will need break in of some sort, this is because they are not created GAPED from the factory to ensure reliability between any set of parts Tyreese and Trinarius decide to throw together on the line on that particular day. Dan Wessons are semi-fit guns, the parts are machine cut slightly oversized then hand fitted together. For this reason while they may need a little bit of break in for "trust your life to it" reliability they will be much tighter in terms of fitment.
Dan Wesson is the 0 body count trad wife to the triple digit body count pre-gaped stacy Glock that modernity has acclimatized you to.

>>64034607No, you have to incubate it. You have to sit on it until it hatches, then you have to shoot non-jacketed bullets through it until its baby rifling comes in. Then you have to sent it back to the manufacturer because it doesn't fucking cycle.
>>64034513You can always get a GI spec more loosely fit gun, but if you want something tightly fit you're either going to pay for it to be broken in by the factory on a machine or you'll do it yourself. I prefer knowing exactly how it was done.
>>64034515It's not quite that, it's that you really do need to be somewhat picky about buying one and given the incredibly wide range of companies making 1911s that can be hard. So it starts with knowing what the differences are, what matters to you, and then dealing with whatever the implications of your choice are. And admittedly, in a lot of cases that means being willing to send it in for warranty service if it's not working correctly from the outset. QC is pretty shit on basically everything in the modern world, so it's offloaded to the buyer. You're better off buying from a company that's reputed to have good service.
>>64034522Why did you swap the guide rod? I don't really understand why you'd spend ~$2k on a pkstom just to swap a bunch of parts out anyway.
>>64034607It could be done without live fire I suppose, but that's the easiest and probably best way to do it.
>>64034614>>64034632>>64034641A hobby / project gun is one thing, but "trust your life to it" reliability and a "break in period" seem mutually exclusive
>>64034641A tungsten guide rod weighs like the same amount as a X300 and for me cuts down muzzle flip
>why would you spend 2k and then swap out parts Because Iโm retarded and like to tinker
>>64034650They aren't, that's just your under informed opinion. Post your semi-fit or hard-fit guns and round counts.
>>64034614>will never be as tight as the other categoriesOkay, but why is this a good thing? TONS of pros shoot glocks, so obviously the wobbly slides and loose tolerances don't stop them from winning. If hand fit slides result in more accuracy, how much? Are there any demonstrations of this? Is it enough to see if you're shooting bench rest at 100 yards? My 92fs's slide was so tight that I had to break it in, it's a very tight fit, but I don't see any extra accuracy out of it when I'm shooting at 100 yards when compared to my m&p.
>>64034650I have a completely different point of view. No gun out of the box is worthy of trusting your life with. Glocks have lemons time to time. Ben Stoeger had one.
I give every gun a โbreak in periodโ of 500 rounds before I carry it or use it for home defense. If you trust a gun out of the box, no matter the brand, I think youโre dumb
>>64034670>even BEN STOEGERWhat's the point of watching him? All he does is put out a video about sig every day.
>>64034668Stoeger said that his 92G wasn't very accurate compared to a Gen 5 Glock/Shadow 2/Staccato, but the difference is still very minimal, especially for us mortals
Hypothetically speaking: would it be better to always EDC a small 32, or to instead leave a Makarov in the car and carry it when going to the hood or unsecure areas?
>>64034680TMZ of guns while I drink my morning coffee
>>64034668>Okay, but why is this a good thing? TONS of dudes shag sluts, so obviously the BPD and GAPED holes don't stop them from being happy. You either get it or you don't, I'm not here to tell you what to like I'm here to tell you why hand fitted firearms may need a break in period and how that isn't some big deal like polymerfags make it out to be.
>>64034659So just put an X300 on it instead of meddling with the carefully chosen and balanced internals? Now that you mention it, I occasionally had similar issues with my Kimber that also had a full length guide rod. I think maybe full length guide rods are bad.
>>64034650>>64034668Honestly I don't care if it makes it more accurate or not. It feels nicer to me and as shooting is primarily a recreational activity for me the subjective quality of the experience is the most important part for most of my shooting.
I keep polyslop in my nightstand, have a polyslop CCW, and have a minmaxxed AR for "muh serious use cases" but when I go to the range to shoot for pleasure I bring a 1911. I'd still trust my life to it, but only because I've come to trust it over time.
>>64034641Are you happy with DW's service? Like I said, I do like their 10mm offerings. Specifically the kodiak
>>64034700>It feels nicer to meThat's totally cool and I agree, my Sig platinum 1911 (From waaaay back when sig didn't suck) had a super tight slide that felt like oiled glass when I racked it. I loved that gun. It however, wasn't reliable with anything other than hornady for some reason. But most of the people here are claiming that hand fit slides are more accurate, but I never saw that when shooting, and nobody else seems to be able to prove that. Even if someone demonstrates that a Nighthawk or something is more accurate than turkshit, how do we know that's the slide fitment and not just the barrel or something?

I'm still not finalized on what handgun to get, but whatever that has been shared so far has been noted. 92 or Glock sounds nice, but I'll try the ones on the range first before settling on a final purchase.

>>64033031That's because you most likely dress like a child, a retard, or a nignog. For people who wear normal clothing, subcompacts conceal well. For people who wear baggy or "tactical" clothing and walk around looking like morons, sure, a full size gun makes sense.

and what do you carry?

I used shexyo and incase as the artist tags, this was just a place holder, I'll work on a better ver as shexyo is an "AI artist" so feeding AI into AI isn't a good idea. I didn't know at the time.
>>64034970Sig has a contract with the biggest military in the world, does that mean that the p320 is a great gun?
>>64034970>government accountability office admits the g19x performed better in the trials than the 320sGlock has more LEO contracts than any 2 other companies combined(people who actually use sidearms)
>>64034970Glock actually does have US Military contracts for SOCOM
>>64034909>44 bulldogAlright. It's an expensive .45 auto, ballistically.
>>64034935If you post body with timestamp, I'll post body with timestamp.
>>64035050You already posted your fatness.
>>64035036Could you imagine the salt if the 19x becomes the new handgun for the US military
>>64034947Ehh, they tend to be picky in my experience.
They'll eat hollow points no problem. I ran 1000 rounds of S&B JHP through mine and not a single stoppage. Vetted a few boxes of Sig V-crown and even speer gold dot and it ate those without a hiccup.
Meanwhile, it hiccups every now and then with ball ammo, be it blazer, magtech, even weak ass pseudo-.40 S&W Winchester loads.
>>64035063>if the 19x becomes the new handgun for the US militaryNTA but,
I'll buy a factory one and 10 mags.
>>64035064I don't think you can find a 1911 with "no" issues. But there are cheap(ish) ones with minimal issues (Ruger, S&W)
>>64035063Glock can't keep winning! They can't get away with this!
>>64031563Damn anon that sucks
>>64035072A lot of them are "no issues if you know what to avoid."
If SGAmmo listed S&B 10mm JHP as cheaper than fmj from the same brand like it did that day, I'd be running that non-stop. I could probably run 10,000 more rounds of that shit through this gun and not see any issues. meanwhile, it trips and falls on its face when I shoot fiocci ball out of it. It's all so perplexing. it almost make me wonder if machine spirits are real and happen to be picky eaters, because nothing, not headspace, not barrel link size and timing, ramp angle nor mag quality seems to be able to tap into the root of it.
>>64031954This. Was my first real handgun and still take it to the range this very day. Though get a more modern version with night sights and rails if you can
>>64035072The only "good" S&W 1911s are still like $1300, and I wouldn't buy anything new from them right now, their quality has tanked, this public lynching Sig is getting is the only thing keeping S&W from being torn apart
>>64033327Very sexy makes me want to buy an m9

Post body with timestamp and I'll do the same. But shirtless ;)
>>64035098that's not an m9
>>64035107yeah. he saw that gun and said "I'll buy the men's version"
>>64035095You're thinking of Springfield
>>64035089Weird. S&B and Fiocchi are my go-to, a little jump up in price from WWB or Rem GWB but worth the extra quality and cleanliness. Idk either

Something is fucky with what I think is the magazine brake though. But I am unconcerned.
