Just over that horizon is Russia's only aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov. I am one wrong move away from the first shootout between two flat-tops since World War II. One flinch from touching off World War III. And you're asking me to fly you directly into the eye of the storm?

I am, ma'am. Because if you don't, the Thing sealed in that ship is going to wake up, and I can assure you, none of us want that to happen. If you don't give us the word, you're gonna wish we were in WWIII.

Look you dumb bitch. Kutzie was designed and built by subhuman ziggers, it is manned and maintained by subhuman ziggers, its air wing (also manned by subhumans) flies subhuman zigger planes, their munitions are inaccurate and unreliable garbage, and your whole script is meant to cater to retarded and ignorant Americans who think that Kutzie is actually a seaworthy vessel and that Russia is actually a strong and mighty world power. Now sign off on that sortie, you MILF slut.

>tom cruise visits the mini S.T.A.L.K.E.R zone inside the kuz
would've been a far more interesting premise than the actual movie.

I wouldn't really call it a shootout more dropping a 500lb bomb on someone with downs syndrome

I think the last time there was a realistic chance of an entertaining carrier battle was 2 May 1982 when the Argentian and British carrier groups were within range and actively searching for each other. Ofc the sinking of the Belgrano scrubbed that and robbed us of a climactic trading of alpha strikes between 2 elderly British made carriers (Veinticinco de Mayo and Hermes) that should have been laid up 10 years before.

Skyhawks and Harriers are really no contest
The Harriers would have massacred the hawks and then a bong submariner would have put the Mayo down with the tuna

they literally just copied a scene from Hunt for Red October only with added sloppa to keep the average 2025 attention span. Compared with the slow tension of the fuel running out until Ryan unclips from the winchman and "man overboard port side, send out the diver"

Now that I think of it the OP is also similar to the texan admiral saying "if someone messes up we'll be in the biggest naval battle since Jutland"
