It is a dark time for the Cup. This will be the final tournament for /f/, joining /asp/ as the second board to leave the Cup forever. And it will be at a tournament hosted by /mlp/, fresh from becoming the first team to secure three stars, and seeking to become the first to win back-to-back elite cups. In the midst of this grim age, we march forth to do battle once more.
Make no mistake, this has been /k/'s year. With the blessings of Saint Paul, we claimed victory in Autumn, our first title in over a decade, and though our bid for Winter faced an abrupt end, we rallied in the Champions League and proved that even the mightiest of giants may be felled. Our tactics are proven. Our will, unshakable. Our path is neither short nor easy, but we will face it with the with the same unshakable will that has carried us this far.

Well, shit. We had a plan, but the question mark was how much pressure we were going to have to apply to make it happen. As it turned out, the answer was "a lot", and that ultimately degrades the odds of any given chance turning into a goal.
