KSK in particular has three companies that could be considered support units
One is HQ and supply company, which is mainly logistics
One is Special Reconnaissance, which is responsible for intelligence collection (and does supposedly feature women, especially in Female Engagement Teams)

All the flecktarn surplus you saw was leftover from the 90s when germany still had conscription enable, all of it was planned uniforms for conscripts and when conscription was done they sold it to the standard market and since the german army has left volunteer than before it's been harder to get surplus on top of that the german company that make uniforms for the bundeswehr don't sell their uniforms to anyone else but the german gov't.
On the other hand, the french and the italians do still have tons of surplus uniforms because the companies that make them also sell them to civilians and militaries alike.
