Iโ€™m looking for a compact 9mm with a safety and no Indian parts. Yesterday someone suggested beretta but my understanding is that some parts might be Indian. I will not purchase Indian products. Simple as.

chatgpt also convinced a mentally ill man that he wasnt crazy and made him have an even bigger mental breakdown.
Chatgpt basically scans reddit for 1,000,000 answers to one question and will tell you almost every iteration is correct.

>I used ChatGPT to give me a quick overview and then manually researched each part of it
Usually just
>Give me best reviewed X excluding Y sites
Because Y sites are often paid shit. Or to ask it really complex questions that google cannot give me an easy answer to.

It is a tool, but people who use it to parent their kids or decide what to eat for dinner is retarded.

I use chatgpt regularly but not for searching shit.
I've used it recently prepare for a pretty difficult job interview for the county I live in. I ended up getting the job. I was the first person they hired for the position in 20 years that didn't have prior experience and was hired solely based on the interview.
I worked a trade job for 15 years and worked it at many companies so i am familiar with the interviews and how they work, but generally speaking if you enter in very specific details about job or whatever chatgpt can give you really good highly specific feedback.
I also use chatgpt to plan road trips on my motorcycle, basically tell chatgpt your fuel economy, what kind of route you want, how many stops, what kind of hotel you'd like to stay at or whatever and it can make you a very detailed itinerary.
Like other anons have mentioned, chatgpt has ruined normies because they just treat it as a search engine when it can do so much more.

ChatGPT is fucking retarded and regularly gets even basic information wrong due to the way that it compiles and interprets its sources. Apparently you're even more dumb than it is.
The APX is produced in the US and Italy and there are zero sources I could find that would indicate that any parts are Indian MIM. Even if it does have jeet parts, the guns clearly work fine and won't have problems on account of not being retardedly designed.
Also, any of the older models or metal frame pistols produced by Beretta will not have a scrap of Indian metal in them. If you really care that much, virtually every handgun in the US that was produced prior to the mid-2010s will be poo free. I don't expect that to change in the future either, especially after the controversy over the issue and lack of necessity in firearm designs created by actual human beings.

It is wrong. Do not take anything an AI says at face value. It scrapes data from any source it can, with no comprehension of what data is relevant or accurate, then presents all the results as a statement even if it is self-contradictory.

People are actually this fried. I've seen people take legal, health and cooking advice from it with absolutely disastrous results.
AI can be a handy tool in very specific contexts where it can do a few things really well, but it sucks hard at most things most of the time. People are absolutely retarded to trust it implicitly across the board.

We saw the same thing with "self driving" car features killing people. It seems like given the opportunity, a good chunk of the population would happily and without any hesitation outside their entire brain to a device.

I'm convinced that nine tenths of the problem is that it's become marketed as "AI" instead of just LLMs, because now normies' perception of what it actually is has been influenced by decades of advanced omniscient AI constructs in media rather than the actual product.
The other one tenth is just that it's very good at acting like an authority on things it knows nothing about, filling in gaps in its knowledge by just making random shit up (with no distinction between what information is and isn't real, making it unreliable to actually learn from). Clearly they've been doing much of its training on Lindybeige.

NTA but for me it's great for rapid prototyping in python, I'll be rewriting the whole thing optimized in a real language anyways when I figure out what works because I work with embedded systems. You don't have to be a clueless vibe coding retard to use AI, you can speed up the boilerplate nonsense that's often 70% of programming and can spend more time on the actually important parts. I also use the deep research function to get a quick summary of state of the art for the specific problem I'm trying to solve instead of having to shift through dozens of papers. But that's just me with 10+ years of programming experience before ChatGPT came out, if you're a college student right now having it write all your assignments and graduating with only the skill of generating prompts, it's not going to end well for you.

Here's how I see this going.

>Push AI for free or nearly free.
>It absolutely sucks 80% of the time, but is somewhat useful.
>Tons of hype about how they'll totally fix everything and AI will be way better than any human any day now.
>Businesses go in a FOMO panic, assuming they will be left behind if they don't go elbow deep in this shit ASAP.
>Employers start replacing human workers with AI because they are "cheaper", work 24/7 and don't ask for raises (yet)
[WE ARE HERE]
>AI companies have a bunch of mergers until one or two have an effective monopoly/duopoly on the whole market
>Jack up the cost of AI services to the moon.
>Human workers are actually cheaper and more effective, but big corpo doesn't want to 180 and admit mistakes.
>All services everywhere scuffed, can't talk to a real person about anything and AI is always telling you random shit that is wrong half the time.
>Can't find a job because nobody is hiring in a service oriented economy where that service is done almost exclusively by AI that can't serve worth a damn and requires the output of 100,000 nuclear powerplants to run.
>Everything gets objectively worse and nobody learns until the house of straw collapses and we go back to what works after wrecking the economy and putting millions of people out of work.
>Only ones that benefit will be a handful of tech billionaires who would have effectively monorail scammed the whole global economy.
