It’s easy with a pusher. I’d recommend going that way instead of using a gunsmith, because if the sights aren’t zeroed after you install them, you’re going to want the pusher anyway. Use masking tape on the slide to prevent marring it with the pusher. You’ll also need a glock front sight tool, which is essentially a really shallow hex bit. Last thing I’d say is that replacing the sights is almost an affectation, considering red dots are so much more transformative, and the plastic sights are pretty much fine as is.

I'm looking for a DA/SA full size pistol, decocker, w/out a manual safety and the ability to mount a RMR (specifically a RCR) with suppressor height sights.

CZ shadow 2 carry - need mounting plate for RMR (not confirmed to work with RCR)
Beretta 92/M9A4 line - Fits everything but being able to mount RCR.

Yes, however you can find rugers on the very cheap if you actualy buy used. Charters are fine as ohfuck guns to keep ducktaped to your showercurtain. You will get significantly more enjoyment out of a Ruger GP100 than a Charter on trigger alone.

The thing about charter arms is the triggers are ungodly mush in DA. Feels like fingerfucking a bowl of mashed potatos with a 20 pound spring in it. They're actually fine in SA, so as a range toy they're perfectly acceptable. Otherwise, machining tends to be a bit rough on the newer ones, but for the price they're pretty solid. I wouldn't go too heavy on the .357 loads, but assuming original anon will try 357 out of it maybe once and then proceed to run 38s forever, just like everybody else who shoots 357 revolvers as range toys.

PR/PA is Austrian manufacture, UA is American. The FS means “front serrations” and is a relic of the older Gen 5 guns that didn’t have them, so the updated ones had FS on the sku appended to show that they’re there. These days, the presence of front serrations on Gen 5 guns is mostly a given and so the newer skus dropped the FS nomenclature.

No prob, one thing I forgot to mention is you may want to avoid magnum snubs, they tend to be very chunky and heavy and if they're lighter weight they're terrible to shoot mag rounds through.
