Honestly, most of them are just ugly as shit. The M&P and XD series sort of look ok, but the Echelon replaced the XD anyway so it looks like shit along with most of the rest. The p320 slide looks ok but the frame looks pregnant. Add an extra $50 to the price and invest in some aesthetic changes for fucks sake

I might be retarded but I like the way stock Glocks look, every generation included. I also like the grip shape and angle more and find the slide easier to use than more aggressively textured ones.
I don't even like striker fired or polymer pistols, and I don't like guns without a manual safety at all.

It works fine when you shoot it properly. I have only had a single Glock malfunction with a dirty rental when I was just a kid. I've also seen plenty of M&P fails in bodycam footage, probably at the same rate, but like the Glocks it could easily be user error or simply bad luck.
Cops get Glocks since they're proven and their pricing is oftentimes better relative to the utility delivered than competitors.
Nigs get Glocks because they're widely available on the secondhand and black market and immortalized in their culture through criminality and music.

It's less your grip strength and more if you're holding it at the correct angle. It can jam in a death grip if the angle is off

That's the problem, you can't always shoot perfectionly in a gunfight. The last video I saw it fail in, the cop is getting hit by a car while shooting. It fails and he has to clear the jam on the road with the car coming back at him. Too much movement is where Glocks fail, actually a small amount of reasonable movement. This seems to be the issue, another video the cop gets pushed and it jams, has to clear while getting stabbed and he does take a few stabs. I ain't trust my life to that shit. Meanwhile I've seen the M&P work flawlessly while a cop was running backward, jumped over a trench while firing, falls down, then continues crawling while still firing. Not a single malf.
