What are people's thoughts on Roy these days, did he settle in to making videos? Admittedly I didn't stick around once Paul died.

He's a lot better than before, but he's missing the fundamental premise and philosophy that Paul had, but I don't think it's his fault really. Roy just doesn't have the massive amount of experience/dedication/discipline Paul had.
Roy seems to approach these videos as him having to 'teach' or to 'test' something as if he's running a classroom where he's expected to give something conclusive -- and it all feels overly forced and therefore not interesting. Frankly, he doesn't have anything to say. Whereas Paul's approach was more him having discussion based on his experiences/training, and the tests were more of a demonstration to motivate further discussion, not BE the entire point. Obviously Paul did do many videos with specific ammo where it was the point, but even with those it felt like Paul was genuinely interested and was doing it for himself, not solely for us.

Oh, and also they're uploading Paul's symposium he did in March 2024 onto their Patreon. He apparently talks about his different self defense incidents in that. I haven't found it ripped yet so I can't confirm.
