>>64068036>the point of the video is that if you even so much as have your finger on the trigger by accident the gun will go off inserting it into a holsterThere are two ways this happens:
>holster traps finger, inertia of insertion causes a full trigger pressThis can happen with any gun which doesn't have a manual safety or grip safety, the likelihood is purely a matter of degree (how heavy the trigger is).
>holster traps finger, partial pull disables internal safeties and the impact of the slide on the holster wall causes the sear to tripThis can happen with any gun which fails the "pull and wiggle" test.
The problem is this; it's not only not feasible to determine which of these events occurred when it happens, but also it's predicated on an instance of CLEAR OPERATOR ERROR. Having a finger inside the trigger guard when you holster is 100% on the user, there are no pure engineering cures to this problem which don't necessitate features which many experienced shooters prefer not to have.
Yes the P320 is more prone to this kind of failure, but what concerns most people is the failure it uniquely displays among all modern handguns; genuinely uncommanded discharges. Not "unintentional", uncommanded. No user input, intentional or otherwise, necessary for normal operation of the trigger.
