Looking for one that's a good carry.
Bodyguard 2.0 is very small, but 380.
Hellcat is also pretty small, but people say it's very jumpy (how much does a compensator help?)
The Shield X is the largest, but still seems to be a reasonable size.

Unironically. They're EXTREMELY underrated.

just get the Bodyguard 2.0 or Hellcat. Both are different however, these are not the same gun. If you want max comfortability just get the Bodyguard. If for whatever reason you think 10 or 12 rounds of .380 isn't enough, then just get the Hellcat.

>Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
What a great show! It has a nice soundtrack humour, art, sympathetic characters and cleverly reserves the best animation for the most pivotal moments. Hadn't been this entertained by oriental works since those of Miyazaki under Ghibli or the Shinkai trilogy... until episode 07 when the series took a sharp turn for the worst: relentless exposition delivered via inane monologues, superficial antagonists [wardrobe and character art in substitution of personality or compelling motive], power levels as a plot device. These are all narrative issues stereotypical to anime, but with no ironic value. I actually considered giving up on the series, but continued on under the correct assumption that this travesty of a saga wouldn't last much longer. Episode 17 was somewhat of a return to form, but it just didn't feel the sameโ€“ especially not after the 'subterfuge as an ethos" reveal. There's some battle royal slop after that

8/10, the soundtrack elevated the series above a 7/10

I have a Shield Plus and like it. I'd consider the X if I didn't already have it. I think my Plus is pretty equivalent to the Hellcat and should handle similarly and it's definitely jumpy but it's manageable, especially for the likely distances in a CC situation.

The unironic total demon death was like some Starship Troopers shit but without the /k/ino. Fern and Lรผgner having a mage battle with entirely blank expressions was laughable. Flamme's lesson to Frieren about subterfuge felt like a meta "fuck you" to the audience

Then there's the mage exam arc
>battle royal slop
There were literally nameless characters as fodder. Then you had shonen bait characters who have fuck all to do with Frieren and company's quest. It did get progressively better as we started seeing some characterisation but why the actual fuck is Kanne dressed like it's the 1960's and Wirbel looks like he shops at Hollister. Isekai bait, that's why! FUCK ISEKAI

But I liked the music so it gets an 8/10

You know what I mean, it was like a real show that was thoughtful, relaxing, and interesting. Then it turned into everyone flies and shoots kamehamehas and endlessly monolog about nebulous, arbitrary power levels. It lost its soul for broad appeal, at least that's how it seems.

I see what you mean, the first 6 episodes was definitely a lot slower and had a melancholy nature to it. I guess the difference is I also liked the rest of the show, the demon arc was cool and the mage exams was fun and introduced some characters I like.

As always, carry the biggest thing you can comfortably conceal, which probably means X. Best way to find out is to finger them in person. Assuming you're not trying to cram it in your pocket, I'd actually recommend a subcompact M&P 2.0.

The issue with Frieren is that they clearly wanted to do a slow burn anime where it's thoughtful and covering deep topics like time, relationships, desire to redo what you've done, existential dread etc. Then they went 'Shit people might find this really boring' so the last 8 episodes has a lot of action and a lot of the budget goes into those fights.

It's like .hack//sign. Where the entire series is just people talking with shit animation and then they do a fight at the end (I think some extra episodes extended it after?). Frieren was well balanced because 16 episodes were by and large character studies on top of the ideas I mentioned. It also allowed them to age up the other characters. But it did really feel like somebody told them to put some action in it and they went a bit OTT. There was still good character stuff in there, just a bit of a tonal whiplash from 'time sucks and we really don't get a lot of it' and 'I have to believe in heaven or shit is mentally damaging if I don't' to PEW PEW PEW PEW LAZ0RS.

It reminds me of gantz, the story was going somewhere, then it was popular and successful and it suddenly changed. It got really stupid, needed plot threads that went no where to cash in on other shit that was popular, like vampires. The anime adaptation was similar, they ran out of sorce material and made an original ending that pandered to a different audience.
