No equivalent of TRADOC
They send recruits to individual units or academies and a lot more training is left up to those individual institutions to decide how and what to train, than would be in any other Western military
So the quality of training as it is for the regular soldier is patchy and varies greatly
Then factor in that replacements in this war are being shoved into the front lines mere weeks after being taken from their homes and REALLY NO SHIT are learning on the job
That's such an incredible finding that I have to repeat
THEY'RE FUCKING LEARNING ON THE JOB!
Which is further complicated by the fact that the entire prewar army is dead or invalided out, so what we have left is hastily-recruited kontraktniki or REMFs training other hastily-recruited kontraktniki
The exception is the drone corps. The Russians did establish a central drone pilot academy and that's why their drones are doing well.
