30 super carry would suck to shoot in that tiny pistol and the extractorless design means it has to be simple blowback. I guess you could do it, but the recoil spring would need to be really fucking stiff and you would barely be able to rack it normally because the slide is so small, but because of the tip up barrel that is actually a non-issue. The real problem is having a slide with enough rearward travel to actually strip that larger round from the magazine.

Beretta triggers have rendered 1911s obsolete to me. Yes I know you can get a match trigger for a 1911 that shoots when hit with a smooth breeze, but those are silly and impractical. Been eyeing up a 92XI, I like the idea of being able to carry a Beretta cocked and locked because the SA trigger is so nice. I'll probably get a GTS though and wait for Beretta to release the parts to let me convert it to non decocker safety only

I always liked the taurus pt series simply for their frame decocker. Honestly if there was a decocker lever only and no safety i would prefer that. Also the frame decockers on the couple models beretta still has them on just feels weird, too bulky i guess, the pt series its like a thin lever on a spring that bounces back to place smoothly, the beretta ones are like a giant block and not as smooth

The 25 ACP bobcats are fucking rad.
I legit like them more than the 22lr ones.
Low recoil, decent accuracy, excellent feeding and reliability.
The ones I REALLY like though are the 950 or 950b jetfires.
They're single action, not DA, but still 9 rounds.
They've got inertia driven firing pins, IE even hammer down you can safely carry with one in the pipe, so safety isn't really needed (which is why the 950 and 950b didn't have one).
They only added a safety in the 950bs to get around import legislation regarding "defensive or non-sporting" pistols.
If you eliminate the safety on a 950bs, grind the safety nub off the sear, and use regular 950 or 950b grips they're much thinner.

I want more people to get interested in 25ACP.
We can bring it back and make it cheaper to shoot.
Buffalo bore even makes spicy 25ACP ammo now too!

The .22 bobcat is great too and it’s a hell of a lot easier to find ammo for.
Post 2003 the pistols were reinforced in the area that experienced cracking and the stainless ones have steel with better tensile strength. Beretta says to avoid +p ammo.
