checked and ty.
More of them are absurd than not. Oscar Lucero you can find on Google. It's all public record so I can discuss, but he shot a coworker 19 times (P320 w/extendo) in his trailer over a poker game including 5 times in the back of the head. He had something like a 0.24 BAC and he spoke to the cops for hours before calling a lawyer.
Told this one a bunch because it's a good example of how lax USLS is with coverage but there's another guy (case is pending) who has a scrapyard that he defends like Helm's goddamn Deep. He has run over homeless people with his truck for trying to steal from him (physically run them over as in driven his vehicle over their bodies), shot them in the face with a paintball gun, etc. Kinda extreme but I kinda get it. However, he chased down and shot a 9 year old and a 12 year old with a paintball gun for throwing sticks at his garage and USLS called that covered self defense.
There's a whole bunch of them. Again, more of them are silly than serious. I've had some legit claims too, though. Common one is shooting a stray dog, which can be a felony depending on your jurisdiction. I usually only have to help the member land the plane with cops though and they get off by themselves.
