The reason you should own guns, is so that you can shoot the sadistic faggots who kill animals for fun. Hunting is one thing, but the gleeful killing of animals is another.
When the topic of guns come up, I've met too many faggots who talk about shooting animals for fun (whether with air guns or real guns), like shooting random birds when they were kids and teenagers, and even as adults if you handed them an air gun for plinking in the backyard. It's weird how common it is among certain groups of people, as if everyone else they've mentioned it to thought it was perfectly normal behavior.
I saw a lot of the same behavior when I was a kid, and I went fishing or crabbing. Sure, I'd catch fish and crabs to eat, while releasing the ones that were too small. I'd also catch small fish and crabs to keep in a bucket for a few hours, before releasing them.
But I always met kids who's tear the limbs off crabs or bash small fish to death with rocks just for fun. I never got that, and it disgusts me to this day.
