how to engage enemy hiding behind reverse slope if we no longer have mortar rounds?
asking for a friend.
we have no drones or grenades, we cant see redfor but lost half a squad cresting a slope.

1: bayonet charge straight up the center. It'll be messy, but it will cede the initiative back to you rather than just sitting there hoping you can fix them with gunfire. (expert pro tip: you can't)

2: recon in force just short of the killbox to map out enemy positions, and try your luck at calling for higher level fires. If it's a squad level objective you're probably going to be told to go fuck yourself, but even smoke concealment fires can allow you to assault the objective easier.

3: bypass the killbox entirely and dead reckon yourself to the enemy's rear. This is entirely dependent on your operating terrain and size of the hostile force, but if the enemy has entrenched themselves in such a decisive key terrain feature, they might not be inclined to leave it in order to suppress your maneuver.

as always, do whatever your MET-TC and stripes can handle.

Spam smoke grenades and push. Make sure you have enough Supports to defib the bullets out of your doods. Kick any Recon shitters being useless 300 meters away from the front in the nuts so hard they can be used as indirect fire munitions.
