Super safety help
Got a super safety for my Ruger 8500 and my bcg gets stuck to the rear when shooting after every shot and won’t release unless I pot the pins to disassemble. I have milled down the upper receiver, put in an h3 buffer and bought a FA compatible bcg. What gives?

I don't see no rain clouds in that picture. Why are wearing a rain coat? Hmm? you tryna shoot up a school. I'm fixing to report you to the police.

Just file the doohickey until the pins stay potted and you can stroke your bcg freely

Why not? Is it because you have no friends, no guns, or just because you're a faggot?

>I have milled down the upper receiver
What part of the receiver did you mill, anon? I feel like that might make things worse depending on what you did.
>put in an h3 buffer
This might be the problem. The buffer might be wanting to slam the bcg home so hard that the SS lever doesn't have time to reset itself and hangs up on the bcg as it tries to go forward. Maybe you could try out an H2 buffer instead.
>bought a FA compatible bcg.
Aren't Ruger AR bcg's M-16 style right out of the box? I'm asking, I have no idea.
My advice? Swap out the buffer and see if that helps any. Also, not to be rude, but be sure that you installed the SS correctly. A lot of people accidentally put the lever in upside-down on their first install.
Oh, and please don't shoot up a school or anything. Life gets better after graduation.

Put the stock buffer back in, chew 2-3 peices of chewing gum and stick on buffer (bolt interface side) and wait to harden.

Try sanding the curved trigger section and the bent section of the lever that the bolt runs against, It's likely that the super safety is getting stuck more than an issue with the rifle

Insane reaction. Are you by chance black and/or bitchless?
Anonymous No.64495419 [Report]
Put two US quarters in your buffer tube. Remove the buffer and spring and drop them in, then reassemble. That should work, sounds like the lever is getting hung up in the bolt and receiver during rearward travel.

Honestly, anon, I think your problem isn't the super safety. It's everything else around you. You should probably kill yourself.

>i certainly would never have my friend take a picture
The main error here was including the photographer's shadow in frame. Very poor composition, worsened by failure to crop it out.
