I think incest is bad, to put it simply but i often see people make bad arguments for this opinion and that doesnt convince people effectively.
Its sort of like that debate with sneako and critical about the age of consent. While criticals conclusion that there should be an age of consent, and it should be around 18 is correct in my opinion, the general consensus and presumably your opinion
Criticals arguments in favor of it were so poor that im sure some people walked away thinking oh ok its fine to fuck teenagers because they look like adults
And this is even worse when you shut down the idea of discussion, if it cant be discussed, if theyre told theyre bad for even contemplating morality, theyre already bad, then many will go completely off the rails into depravity because they lack guidance.
Often, to do something bad, you just have to think that youre right. I think thats why a lot crime happens.
Most people can get along in society just fine following their vague instictual morality, paired with the seemingly arbitrary rules put in place and just go its the law and they dont need further justification. And thats ok i guess, for them but it has consequences for the inquisitive types and or people who dont have that innate sense of morality
And these inquisitive types and or people lacking this instintctual gravitation towards conventional morality, some may just seek to validate their instincts, obviously not every is JUST POOR WITTLE BABY WHO NEEDS GUIDANCE im not that naive, but there are many that do
