Blunt instruments do less trauma and do not inflict bleeding (causes HP loss over time). So sharp instrument preferably a slashing one because a slash attack, though it does less damage straight away than the piercing attack of a spear will cause more blood to flow as the wound is much larger in area. More blood loss means the ENEMY becomes unconscious faster. And that is when the victory of me over the batle is declered!!! YES

I think if you're willing to kill someone you should be willing to feel how difficult it is to kill another person and how full of violence you have to be to beat someone to death. Even strangulation causing death can take quite a long time. Killing another person with bare hands is usually pretty difficult and I feel it's the more respectful way to kill someone. Certainly more painful for the victim and borders on torture but shows you really mean it. There can no real mistake as to your intention, what it means, and that you accept you are ending another life (even if you try to dodge the consequences).

Compare with the modern day firing squad with duds and real ammo, or executioner chambers with fake and real levers. We are divorced from the gravity of killing other people and that is to our detriment. We do not respect life when we do not respect how hard it should be to kill another living person.

over eighty years after "shadow of a doubt" was released, a blunt instrument is still the best weapon to be used in a murder. preferably a quite common and hard to specifically identify blunt instrument: something smooth, rounded, and huge, that you could cave someone's head in with and put right back on your mantle

Sharp. Blunt is just gay af, bare hands is more visceral but it kind of takes a long time and I think the aftermath isn't as striking. Sharp is a good mix of being dramatic but still not stupid.

I find it very concerning how many here are answering the question as if theyre irl seriel killers.

i've always wanted to beat somebody to death with a rock. it's been happening for a good few years now, i have constant thoughts, daydreams and fantasies about smashing somebody in the head with a rock, a medium sized rock that would fit comfortably in your hand. i wanna hit them over and over again, for hours until their skull doesn't resemble a skull anymore. this could be anybody. i really haven't had a single day where i haven't thought about doing this in over a year. i don't know what causes this. this thread looked like a decent place to share it i guess.

Slashing/pierce is the way to go for my personal style. Depending on how sadistic I feel in the moment, slashing weapons, such as a knife or a sword, open me up to a myriad of possibilities; perhaps I wish to slit their wrists and watch them contort in pain as they slowly bleed out? Mostly, though, I care about blood. Without blood in murder, there is little art. An example of wielding a weapon artistically would be to flay the upside of some sod’s noggin, before crashing down and bludgeoning the upside of their skull in. Blunt weapons offer both little bleed and little artisticality.
