I distinctly remember being in 8th grade (I already socially transitioned) and having one of my other asian classmates get mad we were mistaken for each other and went off that it was just because people couldn't tell asians apart even though this never happened to either of us with our other asian classmates (who were all female). This happened with us basically until we graduated high school and never saw each other again.
