Yeah this. It's one thing to be attracted to women, it's another to actually want to date one. Dating men is significantly easier and there's a social expectation that even if you can provide for your own, that he still provides for you anyways. It's just a better deal vs. the more egalitarian dynamic of a lesbian relationship.

So even if a woman would be down to make out with another woman in theory, in practice she probably won't do that often because women aren't aggressively coming on to her and badgering her for sex.
