My grandfather kinda hated what I was but he never stopped supporting me financially, more than anyone else and it was all my fault, so, my parents used to visit my mother's family quite frequently when I was young so I just stayed in their house, one night I don't really know why I did it but I had a few set of clothes and got all dressed up and was walking around the house with heels and everything, then I heard my grandma say something like "please don't come out, let him be, it might be anyone anyway" then he replied very angrily "who else could it be?", I froze up, took away everything on the spot and came back running into the room, I locked up there for the remainder of time, all my extended family gathered in that house and my cousins tried to make me go out repeatedly but I didn't until my parents came back.
They already had a faint idea of how I felt, and I don't even know why I thought it was alright to do it, but after that day when he confirmed it everyone stopped bullying me, before that all my uncles and cousins would bother me for being too delicate and emotional, he started giving me weekly allowance for whatever I needed until he passed away, after he did, my cousin told me that after I did that he told everyone that I was gay and dressed like a woman and that they should accept me or at least stop bothering me, I cried so much that day, it broke me and not only monetarily, he was a wonderful man and although he wasn't very expressive and avoided physical contact I always felt unconditional love coming from him despite knowing how I felt, I miss him so much.
