the difference between an 8 year old transitioner and an 18 year old transitioner is far greater than the difference between an 18 and a 28 year old transitioner, despite the same age gap.
I think in terms of biology: pre-puberty/at the start of puberty (blockers before anything really happens) is turbo youngshit (basically cis), during puberty is youngshit, 18-25 is midshit, and 25+ is lateshit.
But socially, relative to other trans people: under 18 is nigh unheard of extremely privileged, 18-25 is youngshit, 25-40 is probably midshit, and after that is lateshit.
it just depends on how you mean it.
