you shouldn't feel guilt over something out of your control. i understand self hate, i honestly still struggle with it a lot too. something you have to realize though is that after enough time in a good relationship with someone you can be yourself around, little else around it matters. im sure you can find someone who will make you happy and more confident in yourself. loving yourself is hard but the first step to changing your life is believing you deserve to change your life.
