There’s a transgender seated near me on the train. He has faded pink hair and I might not have clocked him without that. He can’t be much taller than 5’8, his shoulders aren’t that wide, his feet aren’t that big, but his hands are proportionally male, his skull is a male length (thats a great tell), and I dont think he has had ffs cuz his brow is prominent, but like he doesn’t look male, his features are not exaggeratedly cartoonishly masculine, he’s clearly feminine from years of estrogen, but the faded pink hair and tiny tight jeans shorts are a bit clocky and stand out. You don’t see trans women out in the wild too often in nornal female jackets or shirts - its usually either weirdly dressy or kinda slutty (tanktops and short shorts). Trans women don’t look like men, but they don’t look like women either (irl).

I've seen a total of one tranny who I clocked instantly. And it was like a homeless prostitute or something who seemed pretty desperate. Trannies irl, here at least, are actually somewhat subtle, but yet still clockable if you are paying attention. There was a tranny in the pharmacy who was dressed very well, probably post-ffs, but I still clocked. You have to see them from multiple angles to get a good idea, and it's not instant either, it takes at least 15-30 seconds if not more to get a good "lock" because if there's just one male range feature it could easily be an afab intersex, but like 3+ male range features the odds drop precipitously.

I've been training myself on the differences between intersex AFABs and trans women tho. I've started noticing intersex women in the wild due to my tranny clocking efforts. It's just not the same. And it's really nothing to do with ugliness either it's just angles and proportions and the combination of multiple proportions.
I guess one thing I've noticed is that men with naturally intersex proportions are SUPER rare and women seem to be built more commonly (still like 1/1000 but vs 1/100000 for men) to be like visibly masculine
there's definitely some gay men with feminized skulls I see sometimes, but like feminized straight men/cis pooners are genuinely 1/100,000 - it feels like nature doesn't really code for intersex traits as often in amabs as afabs unless you are gay.
