I don't believe anyone jumping to conclusions about the sexuality of someone else especially that of a man. You wouldn't/shouldn't share all your thoughts and that's especially true for a man. If a man is attracted to men he's disincentivized from ever acting on that. Chances are he's better off letting people make assumptions and lying by omission. Even the people who larp as more accepting will make a lot of assumptions about bi men you can't really combat so if you care at all about being maligned it's better to larp and live a life perfectly indistinguishable from a supposed straight man or even a gay man if you're sufficiently interested in that. If you're asexual you should be able to think of many reasons other than your lack of attraction to use as reason to reject someone in a socially acceptable way.

As if being attractive should be the focus of someone's life, maybe it helps during job interviews and negotiations, but I don't see any value in being sexually assaulted by women who either assume my consent because I'm a man, or don't care about it because I'm a man.
