>>40113983 (OP)>Perhaps the perception of males as automatically dangerous has caused emotional traumayeah true
but ever consider that men are dangerous enough often enough that its genuinely in our best interest to assume every man is dangerous, when if we don't the consequences can be as bad as getting raped and killed? the worst a guy has to worry about with a crazy girl is getting slapped on the cheek and cussed out in public, and getting seen as "the bad guy"
maybe guys as a whole should take significant steps toward changing their collective behavior instead of victimizing themselves and calling themselves "one of the good ones" and demanding that they dont have to put in any effort cleaning up THEIR community!
>Being a woman is being seen as safe.yeah because physically speaking we're an even match then, i have the agency to leave the situation if i want/have to
there is nothing i as a woman could do if a man decides to prey on me or hold me down, im shorter, im weaker and my body is less athletic, i cant run away in a way that matters or wrench myself away from his grip
even if i worked out, i would only just barely compare to a guy who just had to exist through male puberty, i could never match up to a guy who also works out... and he could still outrun me and out-reach me despite all that
that physical mismatch is core to why many women are (rightfully) scared of men
and thats even before we bring other guys into the mix, as often as assaults happen by singular perpetrators, its not uncommon either for a whole group of guys to prey on just 1 woman, what the fuck am i meant to do then??
i think the common understanding of men as dangerous is entirely deserved. yall on average are really really weird toward women!
