There are a million reasons not to have a kid. And having a kid is not in itself special, anyone can have a kid. Having kids doesn't automatically make your life better either. Most parents are bad parents and most of them at some point regret having kids. This is pretty much indisputable. Divorce rates also keep climbing. Most people who have kids are poor, because they want to add value to their miserable lives and can't afford fullfillment. It has nothing to do with the actual prospects of the kid's success or love. Natalism is wrong from several angles, your kid could come into all kinds of birth and genetic defects and risk all sorts of injury at random. People who care about children's wellfare and consent above their own just don't have kids, understanding suffering and death are gauranteed and pleasure isn't. The world also does not need more kids, because politics are a distraction from the responsibility of the government and those around you to deal with the people that are already alive, for whom we have an abundance of resources accumulated already. There is also nothing objectively special about anyone's genes, nature has no will, it is just energy moving in the path of least resistance, and there is no such thing as a soul/holy spirit/god guiding humanity.
