of course every treatment is made with the patient's consent when possible, that doesn't mean that the doctor isn't the one with the responsibility to make sure the diagnosis and treatment is the correct one.

Let's look at the possible scenarios regarding a detransitioner:

doctor's fault, misdiagnosis and wrong treatment.
>person was trans and then stopped being trans
trans isn't immutable. possibly correct diagnosis but the treatment is questionable so doctor also at fault.

AMABs have a much stronger stigma against being gender non-conforming so getting to the point where you're transitioning requires you to already have a high level of dysphoria to be motivated to ignore the consequences and push forward regardless.
Meanwhile AFABs don't have the same stigma about being boyish so they don't have the same "wall" that filters out those who aren't as committed that would be filtered out if they were AMAB.
