i just took my first dose of ozempic god dammit. the fatpill is a lie. im fat now and i look more like a moid than i do when im skinny. some people just have cursed fat patterns. i might try weight cycling again at some point but i think it will have be a total body recomposition effort like- eating at a surplus, training hard at the gym, and taking pio all at the same time. i dont think just gaining weight on hrt did shit for me

yeah fat distribution is like mostly genetics. i've been doing some research on what affects body fat distribution, i'll get back to you on if exercise affects it once i'm done with the paper i'm writing for my english composition for stem class

i have very masculine fat distribution but im scared to lose weight because my fat gives the illusion that i have hips and if i lose that i will just be a topheavy man

wdym nona why do i need to fibermaxx? i do try to consume a lot of fiber, but for gut health reasons bc i am a bottom.
>>40138999
my fat does the opposite because it just refuses to go to the hips and instead likes to just sit on my back and stomach and make me look more top heavy than i do when im skinny.
>>40138979
i dont think exercise will necessarily help with my fat pattern, but i have very weak glutes from being on my computer 24/7 and generally being inactive. so i think in my case the only way gaining weight will help is if there's an effort to do a total body recomp, i.e. gain a significant amount of muscle and try to prioritize fat to gain in a gynoid fashion with pioglitazone if i'm not able to convert all my caloric surplus to muscle gain. the thing is, when im fat it's not that i don't have fat on my ass or thighs, it's just that i have a lot more of it on my back and stomach and no underlying muscle on my lower half to make that fat look good.

im afraid ill do another weight gain cycle after losing this weight (I have about 60lbs i need to lose to be at 20bmi and it'll just go right back to bad places and ill end up concluding body contouring surgery is necessary. sadge

yeah i get what you mean about butt muscle and shape, it makes a big difference
i'm just about to get on pio actually (it's currently in the mail) so if it makes a huge diff i'll report in o7

weight cycling wont save you. drop low, hold, and start pio. do 6-12 months on it. you need new fat cells, not more fat.

note that pio only works for as long as you have undifferentiated adipocytes to work with. you probably won't have an issue with this but at higher weights/bf%s it could become relevant
source: i remember seeing it on a study that i was reading about glitazones, don't remember which one

actually i should clarify, the adipogenic effects of pio only work for as long as you have undifferentiated pre-adipocytes to work with. it'll still improve the uptake of lipids in gynoid regions

yeah i think the problem with pio for me has been that my weight cycles have been at inopportune times. i still have too much male fat that it isn't just going to kill, i dont lose enough on the downcycle to get rid of / shrink those fat cells, and how much i gain isn't enough to trigger massive amounts of new fat cell growth. i basically started pio at 5'9 195 lbs, lost to 190, then regained to like 205.

my current plan is to lose to like 140 (taking ozempic at the moment) and then start pio, and regain while going hard in the gym until i'm about ~160lbs. gonna try my best to do it the right way, hit all my macros and eat enough to where i'm hopefully still gaining SOME fat while building muscle and just pray that it goes to my hips and ass. i fear i may have to do this a few times to get the best results :/ i have the opportunity to maybe get 360 lipo/BBL with rahal next year that i might jump on, but i only wanna do it if i've done at least one full proper HIGH EFFORT weight cycle first and im still unsatisfied.

for reference i used to weigh 150 when i was like 2yr hrt and then life got a little crazy and hrt wasnt super consistent and thats when i gained up to about 200lbs so that was also not very ideal

okay this might sound like a hot take but i'm not sure if pio fat redistribution cares about weight cycling, if that makes sense
like yeah pio does coax your gluteofemoral fat depot into doing an adipogenesis and adipogenesis is spurred by weight gain as well but like i think i would need actual evidence of pioglitazone producing greater results when gaining weight than when maintaining weight \ and this wouldn't be like a structured experiment i'd just look at the studies that have been published and compare them to anecdotal evidence of whr changes
so hopefully this is a question i can answer when i take pio because i'll be taking measurements when i do

i tried topical, and while it was an insane experience it most definitely shifted fat to the regions i applied it to. precursors are a difficult thing, but keep in mind that theres a decent hypothesis that the reason its so damaging for diabetics over time is that it leeches stem cells from bones and organs over time and they cant handle that.

some things that may upreg stem cell availability are progestins, GHRHas, higher doses of green tea extract, and that one specifically designated form of medicated chocolate.

killing fat cells can be done with aqualyx injections. if youre not in the US those are relatively cheap. what nothing short of lipo or other expensive procedures can do tho is get rid of ECM. i dont know how big of an issue that is for you, but it is the thing that tends to limit just how much your skin can shrink.

>>40143671
this makes sense desu. i think holding a weight with pio makes the most sense. id only cycle up at the end of a period on it to maximise fat cell expansion where you want it, because of course your cells still need to be trained to expand where you want them and chemical insulin sensitizers help there.
