This is only true of "practicing" gays. Ironically, despite the fact that modern culture condemns being trans way more there's no strong evidence that being trans is inherently bad in Christianity. The only places that even come close are in the "don't eat shellfish or wear mixed fabrics" portions that everyone ignores anyway. There's no biblical basis for trans bad, it's just people's personal feelings and assuming it wouldn't be OK, but there's no real evidence
