it doesn’t work because almost everyone is aware of it. in order to actually use operant conditioning the subject shouldn’t know that they are being conditioned, it should be subconscious. it also doesn’t happen over a day or two, it happens over weeks or months (with some exceptions in cases where there is a strong physiological link)

I've clicker trained a girl but I did it with hypnosis. I've also trained someone with classical conditioning, although it wasn't clicker training. I haven't ever done it the hard way with operant conditioning. At least not intentionally.

This is exactly correct in my experience. Operant coditioning takes a really long time to work, and other methods are much easier.

If you actually want something from someone, the easiest thing to do is explain what you want to them and invite them to follow along. Hypnosis too is largely inviting people to follow along until you can convince them that they no longer have a choice. It's way easier to train people when they're submissive and predisposed to following orders in the first place, or if they have a fetish for it, or both.
