can someone unironically explain mario kart's appeal to me? the ai franchise-wide rubberbands and cheats, they add literally nothing between the games compared to non-nintendo dev teams, its full priced despite being originally like from 1992, and it doesnt actually make playing with friends funner mechanically so ur just relying on friends to entertain u not the game. i didnt pay for any of the mario karts i played but i still walked off either dissatisfied or just barely entertained at most, i like racing and silly games but its just so boringg its hardly that silly and they cba to balance them either
