How does your family feel about your trans partner?

I want some advice! My family doesn't seem super open to my gf even tho she's presenting cis male (she is naturally fem tho) and I'm not sure what to do, how have u guys dealt w it? Both perspectives of trans ppl meeting their partners families and ppl dating trans ppls introducing their trans partner are welcomed

you have to teach your parents to respect you. to do this, you have to act super mentally unstable around your parents in a way that makes them fear for their lives, but not in any way that gives them evidence that you are actually dangerous.

since a parent's idea of respect is fear, this can turn out quite well if you do it right.

my family knows im trans and are supportive, ive only ever dated nb who presented as cis women, and theyve all been supportive of them, so even tho im single rn, itd be okay ig, I think theyd prefer that I date cis tho.

My Parents would be happy if I had anyone I'm 37yo khhv. They would be ecstatic if I brought home a partner no matter what. They just want me to be happy and I've completely disappointed them in that regard.

im the tranny gf to an extremely autistic cis girl, and her family has been great desu. extremely accepting and wanted to be close to me immediately. i think when ur kid isnt some super socially successful person whos easily going to find a long term partner the family has an easier time accepting anyone. when u as the tranny gf r the weird one in ppls eyes its a lot harder i think but if theyre actually a good family theyll make an effort to know and accept their childs partner

I don't let my family influence my personal life so it doesn't matter. I don't even know how they feel.
