The witch-slayer tracks down magical creatures that are prone to become abominations. Root comes to the witch-slayer to request he hunt an immortal blood drinker that has set upon his village. However, Root has magic of his own that may turn the witch-slayer's hunt his own way. Sketchy, yet compelling art and solid writing. Graphic, in-comic M/M sex between the leads and some M/FtM scenes with a cheeky, cuntboy oracle. About 100 or so pages up now with sporadic weekly updates.

If you're looking for completed comics Spurs and Stripes and Avialae both have decent writing and art as well as in-comic NSFW scenes; the creators of both series also have ongoing comics that are relatively enjoyed here (Patchwork Circus, If a Tree Falls, The Hunt). Sparks, The Hunt, Electric Bones, Cinderella Boy, and Strange & Wild are all pretty good ongoing series that have a decent number of pages to date. Full Moon Panic! is probably one of our best newcomers. Also, just check the thread from time to time, we have a lot of comics posted here these days (and some are even good!).

It's been ages since I've read 14 Nights, but it did make it to waifu-tier for a reason. No other sad, middle-aged gay dramas immediately spring to mind, but I know I've seen comparable works out there.
