Haven’t even had the urge to drink either. Does anybody else have that, where you spend years as an addict, then just get tired of it (being a loser) and just stop? Also probably need to work on my 4chan addiction too…

How long did it take for withdrawals to stop and how did you survive first days?
I'm getting tired of opioids too but fuck those withdrawals, they're killing me

For me it was a failed relationship, and starting when I was young/being a loser outcast in school. I’m glad you’re doing better now anon. And yeah stay away from benzos you can’t even come off of those without medical help.
>>40174451
How long have you been doing them? What’s your dose? For me it was honestly 8 days of sheer hell. But I wanted to be free, wanted to choose life. Used a combination of phenibut, alcohol, and magnesium to help me occasionally get some sleep.

Thankfully for now I've only been doing opioid for pussies so codeine.
I've been extracting it from antidol (old polish way) almost everyday for last 2 years, like 900mg dose currently.
I used to be able to last 2 days before having withdrawal but now it starts the next day

That's actually what scared me with the phenibut. Like yeah, it helped me to actually sleep, but dang the stuff I've heard about those kinds of meds. Honestly even the post withdrawals are making me super depressed and anxious. Oh well, hopefully it'll be over soon. What all were your symptoms?
>>40174644
Yeah I'd quit that were I you, unless you want to go through days of agony. Opioids suck anyway, just make you veg out and constipated.

The problem is I really like that state, this numbness after taking. But for the 90% of those 2 years it's mostly chasing those highs from the beginnings than actually enjoying what is happening right now. And it's ruining me financially so it makes sense to get out asap. It's just not easy to do that.

That was how it was for me too. Heck still is, as like I said I've gone through a lot of depression since stopping. But you have to stop anon, you need to experience the highs and lows of life in full. Once you stop, you realize how much you've been missing, how "on autopilot" everything has become.

I wouldn't say I've full on made it yet. There's still a lot to do, and I have been waking up quite anxious and depressed as the memories of the things I've numbed over the years come rushing back to me. But I'm fine with that. I have healthy ways of working through things now.
>>40175807
Yeah that was me. I took 7 days leave from work. Still get cravings (and temp changes) but other than that it's just a matter of regaining some lost weight I lost over the course of the withdrawals.

I had a friend who did this. Then he went back to binging opiates when he could get them. Probably saying "it's fine if it's not heroin".

Usually only a few beers. All I could get down while throwing up a bunch really.
>>40176336
I'll try. I guess I'm "lucky" in the sense that I didn't really have drug using friends enabling me. Only one friend knew I was an addict.
>>40176450
nah I'm done with all drugs. Had to take a nyquil the other night and even that was too much for me
