Also I think there's just a difference in how women approach men and how men approach men.
Say a gay/bi guy is into twinks/bears/latinos-with-mohawks/whatever. He might ignore everyone who doesn't meet his type but immediately go for anyone who is his type. He can be picky, but he won't be hesitant.
A woman on the other hand, even if she has a type of man she likes, is more likely to both go outside of that type and will still be hesitant and want to get to know him first, even if it's just chatting for a bit to make sure he's safe when she's out at a bar looking to smash that night.

Yes, I do say I am trans on my profile. But nobody reads Tinder profiles, so I always get unmatched or ghosted right after every match. I am considering removing all dating apps again; its just all men looking for free sex worker and women looking for attention without reciprocation.
