Tucking is a meme unless it's absolutely necessary. I used to tuck for work, I danced in a cabaret, but I'd wear leggings as is as a fag pre-trans during my off work hours. I didn't particularly care about others seeing my bulge, but it's more comfortable to just wear a longer t-shirt or whatever.
I'm post-orchi now, I still have a visible bulge, but it's small-ish and doesn't bother me in any capacity, so even wearing a bikini feels completely natural.

When I was a kid and everyone tried to associate me with the flamboyant gay kid I tried to distance myself from him, a few years later I became friends with his brother, one day we were drinking alone together and he brought up how hurt he felt when I joined the others at mocking him, I honestly didn't remember but I was a piece of shit and I don't doubt it, so I spent quite a while apologizing profusely, then we watched his favorite fashion runways and I showed him some of the stuff I liked, we didn't become close friends as nothing of that didn't make up for it, but I realized I shouldn't be throwing others under the bus to save myself, they have their reasons to be how they are and I shouldn't care as they are not me, and I do my fair share of stupid shit that would make others feel the same so I think it's evil to do all of this.
