that's because a blood test goes entirely by objective measurements, whereas psychiatry/psychology is all about looking at vague patterns of behavior and assigning them diagnostic codes and administering therapies that've been shown to lead to incremental improvements in X% of patients (always a minority of them) and going down the list of treatments until one works enough on that particular patient to keep them from killing themselves. that's not even getting into analysis, which by Jung's own admission had nothing to do with improving quality of life.
