This happened because of immaturity. Rather than put in the work to sustain your success now you keep yielding to the desire to "give up," not yet realizing that life will go on no matter what. You'll learn from these mistakes and eventually become more solid. You'll have regret for this time period but, if you succeeded before you'll probably succeed again.
