I am in the hospital now and am okay. I just woke up from my anesthesia. I was out for about 4 hours. They have given me my phone back.
On my way to the hospital I was bleeding profusely and I required a blood transfusion. Because my right testicle was necrosed from the alcohol injections they were forced to remove it. I wasn't in much pain at first because of the lidocaine but it started to get worse as it was wearing off on my way to the hospital. They gave me fentanyl in the ambulance which helped somewhat but the pain was still there.

It's true, but the missing context is that psych wards are for the most severe, acute mental illnesses. Also quality of care is incredibly inconsistent at best. Their most important role is to stablize someone going through a severe mental health crisis. If, when stable, someone wants to kill themseleves enough, they'll probably be successful.
