I really really fucking hate how mainstream LGBT has this obsession with pride and standing out, rather then being accepted by others.

Why do you think we're so hated? LGBT people don't try to be normal, they don't try to accepted, they try to make a fuss, act like extreme degenerates, make it about pride rather then again, acceptance.

Remember the SJW clips from over a decade ago of the fat chicks with dyed hair? And other examples I can't put a finger on? That's how we're seen. They/Them nonsense doesn't help either. And don't say "but it's the vocal minority", cause is it really? Even if it is, they're the people who get seen.

I just want a world where LGBT can say who they are without having to clarify a bunch of shit.

i honestly think it's all been a psyop all along, the whole trend of being trans during covid, the "you dont need dysphoria to be trans", "you dont need to actually transition to be trans" and other "progressive" ideas like the pronoun and they/theming everybody bullshit; the only thing it led to is raising moral panic about hundreds of thousands of school girls trooning out when they just changed they pronouns and dyed their hair

So now every 60y-something boomer has a conception of trannies as having to go through numerous operations and sex changes AND that thats what all of those "innocent children" are being put through, it no surprise the they would be so alarmed of the "trans menace"

change is scary, but it can be eased in, the public was never going to be 100% accepting but it could've happened if people acted smarter. but instead people end up acting like extreme degenerate wackjobs and then wondering why the public hates us, hated because like the OP says, people make a fuss, don't try to be normal or fit in.

This thread is stupid. You can do both. You can be proud and confident and bold while also paying attention to social norms and being a good person by the standards of cis people. It is not one or the other. You have to succeed at both. You will never be actualy accepted by homophobes and transphobes because their hate is illogical and they're stupid. The reason that you try to look good and act good is to lift up and inspire other LGBT people and make cis allies stronger in their support.

Basically you can do both, conform and be attractive and socially conservative but also proud, and open about who you are, wave your flag, don't be afraid of being seen. Trying to pick one or the other is just a losing game.
