As a 30-something with a friend group ranging from 19 to 39 y/os, Ive found the most real differences are in career progression (my younger friends still in college or entry level while I'm managing) and life milestones (kids, transition progress, relationships). But, like, level of maturity isnt set. Some of my younger friends are incredibly mature and at worst lack context sometimes.
Dont be afraid to give em a shot. Just remember they may lack some of the same life experience you have. I personally take great joy in helping people through things, especially if they dont have others to lean on.
