I wish gender critical spaces that were ACTUALLY gender critical existed with good moderation to snipe out actual literal transphobia instead of honest discussion. Because I think trans people deserve to exist, people should be allowed to live how they want, but why does thinking we need more laws around hormone regulation make me transphobic? It shouldn't be banned, people just need to be more informed because that's how you get ayden destransitioners who ruin everything for everyone by acting like them getting groomed was a universal experience. Why is it transphobic for me to acknowledge that some trans women realize they're trans by consuming forcefem hentai and they can't know everything there is to the female experience from day one? Why can't we just have good and honest discussion about the nuances of literally switching over to an entirely different gender with an entirely different socialization, and why is it transphobic to acknowledge that the socialization aspect is real and changes you and how you view the world deeply?

That's an overly idealistic way of thinking. A lot of trans women have this idea that they should just destroy the government and everything will be okay, but they don't want to acknowledge how that is pretty much impossible. A french revolution style thing hasn't happened yet because the government has horrible tools of war that will stop you all LITERALLY dead in your tracks before you get anywhere. I want you to live.
