The biggest difference between my trans gf and all the close cis women in my life (mother, aunts, sisters, 3 ex gfs) is that my trans gf doesn't seem to care much about my (mostly insignificant) injuries. If one my ex gfs found out I got a cut or an injury they'd freak out and think I was about to die and they'd have to nurture me blabla. Meanwhile it was just a cut that would need a couple of stitches or a lifting injury that would be ok with a couple of days of bedrotting. For my current gf it's like this stuff doesn't register and she doesn't bother to ask about the injury or make 'owwweee how are u :(((' remarks. That suits me perfectly, I prefer to deal with stuff like this on my own.
