The internet and its consequences have been a disaster for trans rights. we geniunely would have been better off not even knowing about anything trans because it would have made the lives of those who were intuitive enought and smart enough to blaze their own trails through it have a much easier and less discrimination filled life.

maybe it's because i wasn't really online yet, but i swear trans acceptance was a lot higher just 7 years ago. have a ftm friend who has been on T on and off since he was 14 or so, no one really batted an eye.
