they didn't get to have fun with cliques and gossiping and drama in highschool because they were social recluses so now they're trying to make up for lost time.

In communities for games marketed towards children, people will act childish. The older and more mature you get the more you will feel this conflict. Take it from someone who's been in your exact position, it's a good thing. You don't want to be tied to one of these types of communities and never outgrow them. Still enjoy your hobbies of course. Focus more on playing with your friends and having a nice time and less on being part of the 'community' which is a honey pot for maladjusted people and literal children. My recommendation when you start to feel this way- branch out experience life as an adult. Take some art classes or something like that. Start an exercise group with your friends. Go on a bike ride. Bring a friend to a bar where you like the vibe. Experience a different side of life with a different community to get better perspective. You will realize things like the thoughts/opinions/behaviors of the GG strive community don't matter

Fundamentally, low-status males transition to improve their hierarchal standing. When that former low-status male troons out and then enters a nerd circle (invariably full of low-status males), they feel entitled to a privileged place atop the hierarchy just for being "female". Thus, friction and drama flourish as the tranny asserts that entitlement via control, dividing the community between defenders of the tranny's supremacy and those who resist it. Simps will naturally arise in this scenario as well to further complicate things, and all that tension gets supercharged by the political nature of the subject. In the end, that nerd circle is left a smoldering ruin of animus, exiles, and bans.
