What's it like to live here? Is it a blue state? My partner and I are seriously considering moving somewhere more progressive and I heard some people reccommend here, is it actually that good?

nooooooooooo lol Nona this is a red state, we have some weird swing politics, but overall madison and make are carrying the whole damn string. I'd say it's nice, but everything is sorta vulnerable. Move to MN, IL or MI

Amazing food and outdoorsy stuff tho it makes me very very happy hehe. Luckily we still have badgercare coverage but idk how long that will last. Supreme Court just overturned abortion ban too :)

Well, any state is more blue than my state, but I'll keep MN and MI in mind. Illinois is kind of a no go unless we get like, a promised free house there, I have too much crazy family there to risk it.

I recommend rural if ur stealth, it's rly nice. Just not a meth town like wausau or Menomonie LOL Stevens point is 100000% the best kept secret. Eau Claire is gentrified by tech sadly, madison is crazy expensive and Neolib, and green day is just kinda awful to navigate in. Not as bad as Oshkosh tho. Superior is meh. Ashland is fireeee, but Bayfield is even better. Monroe is super nice, whitewater fucking sucks, rhinelander is nice, new Glarus is meh desu. Recine sucks, Beloit sucks, Janesville is the literal neonazi capitol, la Crosse is beautiful, Oconomowoc is doo doo and uhhh I think that's all the notable towns. There's prob more idk. Also visit Osceola. really nice.
